Vibration Interior Design

Four life changing reasons to have a Feng Shui home

Feng Shui is a holistic interior design process similar to Environmental Psychology based on the same principles as quantum physics, simply meaning that everything in the Universe is connected and made of energy at the sub-atomic level and as energy cannot be destroyed, for each action there is a reaction.

Whether you are conscious of it or not, we are energetically connected to our environment, that of course includes our homes, and we mutually affect each other. If your vibration is low, you neglect your home or something tragic happens in it, walls retain this low energy and the other way around is also true, if you look after your home it will look after you, and that is where Feng Shui can help.

Feng Shui is not a quick fix for all your problems, it is not a superstition nor a magical cure, but it has a beautiful, almost poetic way of looking at our lives and can open you up to wonderful opportunities.

So why should you Feng Shui your home?

1. Feng Shui connects us to the Universe

There are three different types of Chi, or universal energies, that affect us.
We have the Heaven Chi, which is essentially fixed by the universe on the day of birth with the position of the different planets and constellations. It cannot be controlled and makes up for our fate or destiny.
We then have the Human Chi which is inside every single one of us, more widely known in the yoga world as Prana, and is made up of all our upbringing, experiences and lifestyle. It is not governed by the Universe and we can influence it.
Lastly, the Earth Chi is the environmental Chi of where we live, so the geographical terrain, the landscaping but also the noise and pollution etc...It all has to do with the way the Earth affects the individual and it’s this energy we can enhance by using Feng Shui.
By harnessing the Earth's energy, we create a bridge to the Heaven Chi, with all three Chi flowing more easily and harmoniously. This in turn improves the flow of healthy energies in our lives and has the potential to lead to greater opportunities. .

2. Feng Shui helps to balance our feminine and masculine energies

The duality of feminine and masculine energies, respectively the Yin and the Yang, is also another core principle of Feng Shui.
It can be found and observed everywhere around us but also within ourselves. This is not gender dependent, we all have both inside us but one might express itself more strongly than the other or at different times, and the Yin is not always dominant in women and vice versa. The Yin and Yang are expressed in our interiors too and if in imbalance, can have direct repercussions on our behaviors and feelings. For example, an interior with too much Yin might see the person living in it being introverted or not motivated to do much. Too much Yang and the inhabitants might be prone to argue frequently. These are just examples but the point is, by adjusting our homes and having the right balance between the Yin and the Yang energies, we can feel more balanced, at peace and in harmony.

3. Feng Shui teaches us to accept change

Change is the only constant in life, as much as it can be unsettling it can’t be denied. Our existence is not constant, nor is our appearance, our relationships with friends, lovers and family or our jobs and statuses.
By nature, the Chi is not stagnant, it likes to meander and explore.
As we have the Human Chi within, we are also constantly moving not just physically but through life path, we have the opportunity to have plenty of experiences, grow as persons and live in the present moment.
The Hearth Chi is also subject to this rule, we have the change of seasons and light and inside our homes, no Feng Shui solution lasts forever. It will evolve with our own Human Chi as they are interconnected.

4. Feng Shui can empower us

Yes, we have our fate but to get to it, we have many different paths available. By using Feng Shui principles and therefore directly affecting our own Chi and vibrations we can travel through life in a more harmonious way and enjoy the road leading to it.
And yes, change might be the one constant but again, we can get more comfortable with the idea knowing that with Feng Shui and our own attitude towards life, our apparent losses can be turned into learning experiences helping us to grow and we can attract many more positive things along the way.
Isn’t it empowering to know we can change our lives with Feng Shui?
