Three essential crystals for your home
Crystals are everywhere these days, they have widely become mainstream, and indeed can be an incredible addition to our lives and interiors (if you’ve missed it, I previously wrote about the benefits of having crystals in your house, you can find the post here).
Some crystals help with physical imbalances, others with spiritual journeys and others are particularly supportive for your home. I don’t believe you have to invest a crazy amount of money on a large number of crystals to get effective results and that’s why I detail below my three go to crystals for your home.
Black Tourmaline for protection
Generally speaking, black coloured crystals are protective and grounding, and similarly to what we perceive as a black colour fabric absorbs all the light rays, black crystals absorbs negative vibrations. They entrap and transmute negative energies and are therefore excellent detoxifiers.
Having a black tourmaline in your home will offer a strong, all rounded protection.
It will deflect negative energies, protect against geo-pollutants, EMF and radiations as well as turn back anger and ill wishes.
Placement:
By the front door: it will protect the whole house by preventing an influx of negative vibes.
Near any source of EMF: to deflect and shield you from them. Try taping one to your phone (or get a black tourmaline case), place one near your computer or any other source of EMF such as TV or WIFI router.
Citrine for abundance
Citrine is a stone of prosperity, abundance and wealth. Its yellow colour, associated with the solar plexus and the power of the sun, is warming, energising and highly creative.
Having one in your home will help with positive thinking, motivation and self esteem which will encourage fresh starts, new pursuits and ultimately bring abundance into your life, in the form of enriching experiences, helpful persons and / or financial gains.

Near any sink, basin or cistern: having a geode or similar shaped citrine will minimise the “flushing” of energy down the pipes, conserve and radiate the abundance back into the room.
